Did you know that you can recycle cigarette butts?!

Terracycle has a program where you can send in cigarette butts and turns them into hard plastic!  Cigarettes are one of the most littered items and are everywhere. At Sound we like to use thoughtful and eco-friendly hair products, but we try to go the extra mile and are obsessed with recycling.  

 Extinguished cigarettes, cigarette filters, loose tobacco pouches, outer plastic packaging, inner foil packaging, rolling paper, and ash can all be sent into Terracycle and it’s as easy as collecting those into a sturdy bag (I use ones my boyfriend has previously stored pizza in the refrigerator after washing!). The shipping is free and is just printed after they email you the label.  

There are more programs like this that are free if you keep up with Terracycle such as shaving razors and pens/markers.  If anyone has any interest in these programs we can also help at the salon with collection.  Just reach out!  Check out Terracycle in the link below:)
